MREC Hosts Webinar on Low-Power Energy Efficient Systems

Postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Dr. Meriam Gay Bautista, discussed low-power energy efficient circuits and systems. The session highlighted the available technologies and methodologies targeting the reduction of the overall dynamic and static power consumption of integrated circuits being used in various devices for renewable energy production and energy efficiency.

The MREC session is organized by Ateneo de Davao University’s Center for Renewable Energy and Appropriate Technologies and School of Engineering and Architecture.

There was high interest on the topic with more than 110 registrations and participated by 20 institutions from various parts of the Philippines, mainly coming from the academe, government agencies, and the industry on energy and power.

The MREC Lecture Series on Renewable and Sustainable Energy systems is a public lecture aiming to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and exchanges amongst global experts on renewable energy and the energy and electricity stakeholders in Mindanao.
