SEA Faculty Researchers Conduct Renewable Energy Training in Pakistan

Faculty researchers of SEA-ADDU Create – Center for Renewable Energy and Appropriate Technologies of Ateneo de Davao University delivered a training program for executives of the Water and Power Development Agency (WAPDA) of the Government of Pakistan.

The executive course “Investment Analysis for Renewable Energy Projects” was held from February 5-16, 2024 at WAPDA Administrative College in Islamabad, Pakistan with Dr Mark Rotor, Engr Francis Bation, and Dr Nelson Enano as the resource speakers.

This program aims to help WAPDA personnel improve on their working knowledge on energy management, specifically in the use of analytical tools and interpret results in key aspects of financial, economic and risk analysis of energy projects, and is implemented in partnership with the Sustainable Solutions Consultancy Services (SSCS) and the Yunus Center of the Asian Institute of Technology.

The WAPDA Administrative Staff College is a premier management institution providing in-house mandatory management trainings to organizations in the energy sector of Pakistan.
