The Ateneo de Davao University and the Mindanao-Japan Science and Technology Platform, with the support from the Consul General of Japan to Davao, have signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the Mindanao-Japan Science and Technology Scholarship Grant.
It is a scholarship for graduate studies in a Japanese university granted to a faculty member or graduate student of Aerospace Engineering. This shall take effect and initially begin in the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.
The ceremony hosted various special guests such as the Honorable Yoshihisa Ishikawa, the Consul General of Japan to Davao, and Mr. Toyoaki Miwa, the Chairman of the Mindanao-Japan Science and Technology Platform. Representing the Ateneo de Davao University in this agreement are Rev. Fr. Joel E. Tabora, S.J., President of the Ateneo de Davao University, and Dr. Rogel Mari D. Sese, Chair of the ADDU Aerospace Engineering Department.
