The Mindanao Renewable Energy R&D Center (MREC), hosted by Ateneo de Davao University, conducted a 2-day capacity building on marine renewable energy research for the researchers at the Institute for Computing and Engineering of Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU).
Various marine renewable energy technologies were discussed during the training and a hands-on ADCP transect survey to assess the tidal flow in the Pujada Bay was conducted.
