Ateneo de Davao University and the Model Cooperative Network (MCN) officially joined forces under the 3VC SPADe Project to establish the Ateneo de Davao University Coffee & Cacao Collaborative Learning Laboratory (ADDC3LL).
Lead by the faculty researchers of the School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA), this innovative initiative aims to promote sustainable development, peacebuilding, and agricultural education in Mindanao. Supported under the Strengthening the Implementation of Regional and Local Peace and Development Agendas (SPADe) and Mindanao Peace and Development (MinPAD) RISE Program of the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the European Union, and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the signing ceremony was held on September 21, 2024, at the CFCC Building, Ateneo de Davao University.
The MOA Signing was attended by AdDU President Fr. Karel S. San Juan S.J., AdDU VP for Higher Edcuation Fr. Antonio M. Basilio, S.J., AdDU Executive VP Jeremy S. Eliab, SEA Assistant Dean Renyl B. Barroca, Filipino Coffee Institute (FCI) President and CEO Ramon Jerry A Cabalce, MCN CEO Ma’am Rhoda Ruth M. Pillerin, faculty members from SEA, guests from FCI, and AdDU administrators.
