Robocao Team of Ateneo de Davao University’s Robotics Program bagged Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Award, and placed second at the Final Round of the iSpark International Pitching Competition held at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 20 September 2024.
The Robocao Team is composed of John Kyl D. Cortez, Denise Cecille R. Armamento, Johann Claude Christian M. Espina, and Nadine Antonette Obafial, and mentored by Engr. Ottoman Montani, Jr.
Eighty-seven teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and the Philippines joined the prestigious competition.
